6EO at Min-Y-Don Day One

On Monday 6th November, we set off on our journey to Min y Don. Half way through, we stopped off at Bala lake for a quick snack and to stretch our legs.

When we arrived, we grabbed our suitcases and then had lunch. After lunch, we were shown to our dormitories; they are lovely. Then we wrapped up warm and did our first activities: Group A - trail biking; Group B - low ropes course and Group C - canoeing.

For tea, we had sausage casserole and mash and for pudding chocolate brownie with ice-cream; it was delicious!
Our evening game was called Haggis. The aim of the game was to buy as many haggis as possible and not be caught by the Haggis Catchers (the teachers!). It was fun running around in the dark with head torches; there were lots of screams and giggles.
Finally, it was our Epilogue (9:30). Joe, one of the instructors, told us a story about Love. Last but not least, bedtime with hot chocolate and a custard cream.
